This is the only map of the island of Skyros at such a large scale, so all information is clear and more detailed.

It is the first time the island’s entire coastline is mapped. Cartography was done with a specially equipped and staffed cartographic vessel. This means that you can locate all beaches of the island, down to the tiniest cove! In fact, the special features of every single beach are recorded: whether it is sandy or pebbled, whether it features natural tree shade, water, a beach bar or organized water sports, whether the seabed in front of the beach is sandy or rocky (so that you will know where to anchor).

It features the most complete road network. The rough dirt road ascending from Achili onto Kochylas, in the area of Vathria, which is linked to the wonderful trails in the area, all dirt roads around the Neolithic settlement at Palamari, the dirt road leading to the remote beaches on the northern side of Acherounes bay, the dirt road leading to the fire outpost on Lisothouria peak, and the long dirt road starting at the beach of Kolymbada and ending at the bay of Nikolaos, are just a few of the roads appearing on a map of Skyros for the first time.

It features the most important trails of Skyros with total precision. The length of all trails is measured in kilometers so you can estimate the duration of your hike, plus 2 of the most important trails are described in detail on the back of the map.

Map of Skyros is printed on Polyart plastic “paper”, making it totally waterproof and rip-proof. You can fold it and unfold it a hundred times, fold it in irregular ways, dunk it in the sea or leave it out in the rain. This map is indestructible!
